I missed a few week notes, but that's ok. These are just for me, so no need to force it if I have nothing to say. This time of year always gets me thinking a lot. While I've been fortunate to provide for those around me this year, I feel a little guilty knowing that it's been a rough year for many with the rising cost of living. It's frustrating and makes me wonder if things have to be this way.

We often make life more difficult than it needs to be. Saying no can be tough, but it's necessary so we don’t lose our marbles. Fancy job titles and promotions won't bring peace and happiness to our lives. Instead, it's important to slow down, appreciate the little things, and surround ourselves with kind people.
